During this Holy Week, some important and symbolic events occured. After his crucifixion and burial, the scriptures mention that Jeshua "folded his napkin." What was the significance of the folded napkin in Jesus tomb? It was a custom that, when one rose from a meal, he rolled the napkin he was using and put it to the side as a signal that he would be returning to his meal. If he simply put it down, he was finished and would not return. Jesus was telling those who discovered the empty tomb that they would see Him again.  |
