The Senate just unanimously passed this bill. Now it goes to the House of Representatives and on to be signed by pResident Biden.

I tend to think I would like it. But there is the experience in Russia, where they had year round Daylight Time and didn't end up liking it at all. They changed to year round Standard Time in 2014. But then, a lot of Russia is pretty far north.
If you live close to the Equator, it is a moot point. I live in Denver, CO in the US and it means that sunrise in the dead of winter would be after 8am. But then, I'm retired and don't have to get up for a work schedule.
